Embracing Change in Trimester Two

As we enter the second trimester of pregnancy, our bodies and minds continue to undergo many changes. Typically, we begin to feel more energized. Our bodies have developed happy hormones like oxytocin, and we start feeling our baby move. Today I am going to provide you with a free, online class with the intention of welcoming and embracing change during trimester two.


In this flow, we move a little faster than in trimester one or two, but our goal is still to stay connected to our breath and with the human we are growing. The theme for this flow is welcoming and embracing change. With the second trimester comes a lot of physical changes so we are going to focus first today on loving on our growing bodies.


We are also going to focus on creating expansion in the chest. As our bodies grow, our organs begin to relocate. As this happens, our growing uterus presses up into the diaphragm. In turn, it can feel like it is a little harder to take a deep breath.


Finally, we focus on balancing our sacral chakra so we can connect with and honor our various feelings and emotions. Your sacral chakra is right below your naval. It helps cultivate flexibility and empowers you to welcome change.
